Churro Gnocchi ingredients and substitutes-
- Gnocchi- Any shop bought gnocchi is fine for this recipe. You can make your own if you’re feeling creative!
- Chocolate buttons- I used vegan milk chocolate buttons but dark chocolate or white chocolate will also be good.
- Butter- I used Nuttelex buttery. The butter flavour is good on the gnocchi and makes it taste richer. I don’t recommend swapping this out for oil or omitting as the sugar wont stick to the gnocchi if no butter is used.
- Sugar- White sugar is best for this as its smaller grain than brown sugar ensuring an even coating.
- Powdered cinnamon- Cinnamon sugar is optional but it makes them taste like fairground doughnuts. You can leave out the cinnamon if you prefer.
