Churro gnocchi is about to become your new favorite sweet treat!

In 2024 I posted a video on Tik tok of some air fried gnocchi you can see the recipe HERE. The video went viral and the people went crazy for air fried gnocchi. So over a year later I thought it only made sense to bring you all a dessert version of the air fried gnocchi.

This super simple recipe features shop bought gnocchi, air fried, coated in cinnamon sugar and dipped in melted chocolate. The result- a churro style gnocchi that also reminds me of the fairground style fresh doughnuts.

If you love the original air fried gnocchi you’ll love this dessert version, give it a try!

Reasons you'll love this Air Fryer gnocchi -

5 INGREDIENTS – This recipe only contains 5 ingredients that you may already have in your pantry!

QUICK- This recipe can be made from start to finish in 15 minutes- super speedy if you need a quick snack!

SUPER SIMPLE- It really is just a matter of letting the air fryer do all the work- minimal effort for those lazy days.

GREAT SNACK- Sometimes you just need a satisfying sweet snack, this churro gnocchi is exactly that!

Churro Gnocchi ingredients and substitutes-

  • Gnocchi- Any shop bought gnocchi is fine for this recipe. You can make your own if you’re feeling creative!
  • Chocolate buttons- I used vegan milk chocolate buttons but dark chocolate or white chocolate will also be good.
  • Butter- I used Nuttelex buttery. The butter flavour is good on the gnocchi and makes it taste richer. I don’t recommend swapping this out for oil or omitting as the sugar wont stick to the gnocchi if no butter is used.
  • Sugar- White sugar is best for this as its smaller grain than brown sugar ensuring an even coating.
  • Powdered cinnamon- Cinnamon sugar is optional but it makes them taste like fairground doughnuts. You can leave out the cinnamon if you prefer.
